New Name, Same Us

If you’ve been on the site today you may have noticed some changes. It’s all business as usual, except for one thing: our name. It often came up in conversation that the name Kafkaesque was hard to remember and difficult to pronounce. And typing it out can be a challenge, even for those of us who type it every day. We’ve been so busy building out our messaging service, we haven’t had time to address it. That is, until now. 

Introducing Kesque, the same high-performance cloud messaging service you have come to expect but now with a snappier name.

For our existing customers, nothing about your service will change. We have a new domain name, kesque.com, but the old kafkesque.io one will continue to work. We will switch to the new domain over time, with the appropriate redirects so you will see no impact.

As part of the rename, we decided to spruce up (but not change) our logo icon, making it easier to view the beetle on mobile phones and computer screens. And we’ve given our website a whole new look and feel. Hopefully, you will find it easier to get more information, sign up for the service, or upgrade your plan. While we have you, a couple more points. As the Apache Pulsar community continues to grow, so are we. New customers are signing up for our service every day and at the same time, we are growing our team to respond to their needs.
